MERCENARY BATTLEGROUNDS – PRIVACY POLICY

Saltant Studio LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Studio") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose your personal information when you use our game, Mercenary Battlegrounds (the "Game"). By installing and using the Game, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information to provide and improve our Game and services.

1.1. Steam Account Data. When you access the Game through Steam, we automatically collect certain data from your Steam profile via Steam Web API, including SteamID, nickname, avatar, friend list status, and other publicly available information required for authentication and in-game display.

1.2. Gameplay and Technical Data. We collect IP address, general geolocation, HWID and system info (via EAC), OS, hardware specs, client version, in-game actions, statistics, match history, crash reports, and error logs.

1.4. Optional Blockchain Data. If you connect a WAX wallet, we collect your public address and on-chain transaction history for MBGR tokens and game.mbgr NFTs.

1.5. Correspondence Data. When you contact support, we collect your email and message contents. We do NOT process payment data — all payments are handled solely by Valve (Steam).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the Game: authentication, matchmaking, leaderboards, and social features.
To ensure security and fair play: detecting and preventing cheating, fraud, and violations.
To improve services: analyzing trends, fixing bugs, developing new features.
To communicate with you: support responses, service announcements.
To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We may share information with:

Valve (Steam) — account authentication;
Epic Games (EAC) — anti-cheat;
Cloud/hosting providers in the EU and Russia.

Also for legal reasons or business transfers. We do NOT sell personal data.

4. Data Retention

Account Data — while active + 180 days;
Anti-Cheat Data — up to 2 years;
Blockchain Data — permanently recorded on WAX (immutable);
Correspondence Data — as needed for support and business records.

5. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed on servers in Russia and the EU. We rely on legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure adequate protection.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
